PRAYER

Hi Church,

As we continue this period of displacement as a Church, we are looking to stay as connected as possible.

Without question the most powerful tool we have is that of ‘Prayer’… it has often been said that those who ‘Pray Together, Stay Together’.

On Sunday morning (and every Sunday until we are back in Dale Street!) we would like you to join us wherever you are in a time of prayer. Set a reminder for 10am and know that separated (but united) we as a Church will be praying TOGETHER.

We would encourage you to remember the death of our Lord Jesus Christ, something that we would normally do as part of our communion service. We were instructed by our Saviour in the upper room to take bread and wine as reminders and symbols of His broken body and shed blood, sacrifices that paid the price of our Salvation.

Although we are unable to share these emblems in person and pass them one to another, we can in our homes take bread and wine to remind ourselves that God loves us so much, that He was prepared to give his Son as a sacrifice for our Sins.

[John 18:1] - Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

SPOTLIGHT ON READING THE BIBLE

The Bible, The Scriptures... whatever we call them, there is no escaping the fact that they are the words of God. And its so important that as Christians we make time to read them. Here's a few thoughts as we shine the spotlight on.... 'READING THE BIBLE'.

Animated Bible story for kids explaining the 'Armour Of God'.

No Longer Slaves

by Jonathan & Melissa Helser.

We continue our weekly journey through the book of Psalms.

And today we've made it to Psalm 88...

Its a bit of a dark Psalm... but these two gave a 'WINNING' performance

In all things, God is worthy. He is the King of Kings, Lord of Lords and the name above all other names! In our homes, jobs, families, schools and churches…in all things, may He be glorified!

Gloryfying God... What does that really mean?

How can we actually glorify the Lord?

In this video, we find 5 practical ways to glorify God- through worship, loving others, becoming more like Christ, serving others,

and telling others about Him!

This story is based on Luke 7:36-50.

WITNESS

SKIT GUYS

SPOTLIGHT ON SHARING YOUR FAITH

Being a witness can mean a lot of different things in our world today. But being a Christian witness is a lifestyle that involves

every aspect of life. This upbeat mini-movie is a reminder

of what that looks like in everyday life.

There are many witnessing and evangelism techniques

available to us, but which one is best?

The Skit Guys demonstrate a few and share their own story.

Perhaps one of the hardest things to do as a Christian is 'sharing' your

Faith.Even the most experienced and knowledgeable Christians

often struggle to find the right words when it comes to

telling others about Jesus.

Animated Bible story for kids based on Luke 19:1-10.
